Arab Bank Switzerland and University of Nicosia Partner to Offer Digital Currency Education to Bank Employees

The Institute for the Future (IFF) at the University of Nicosia (UNIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd (ABS) to provide digital asset education to the bank’s employees. This partnership aims to equip the bank’s staff with essential skills in the digital asset space, enabling them to enroll in UNIC’s digital currency courses.
Education Programs Offered
Under the MOU, UNIC will grant bank employees access to online programs such as the MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency, MSc in Metaverse, and Blockchain Academic Certification. Additionally, tailored professional training programs will be developed in collaboration between UNIC’s IFF and ABS to enhance the employees’ knowledge in blockchain and Web3.
Employee Training and Commitment
Arab Bank Switzerland has made UNIC’s “MOOC on Mastering Web3” a mandatory certification for its employees, with nearly 200 employees already enrolled in the program. This commitment to digital currency education reflects the bank’s dedication to lifelong learning for its workforce.
